Going to ASHG in Boston this week?

This week the American Society of Human Genetics (ASHG) meeting is being held in the Boston Seaport area at the Boston Convention Center. The primary focus of the meeting is inherited diseases and genetics studies. Leaders in this field will come together from all over the world to share their discoveries throughout the week.

If you are interested in seeing the latest products and services in the life science market particularly in the genetics space, the exhibit hall is a treasure trove of information. There will be row upon row of vendors happy to introduce you to their newest technology or share the latest application. An additional benefit to the hall is the Exhibitor Theater, where exhibitors such as Personalis, Beckman Coulter, Oxford Gene Technology and Courtagen Life Sciences will introduce new products, applications, and case studies in a small lecture setting.

So what to do if you haven’t registered for the meeting and would like to see the exhibit hall? Ask a friend at one the companies exhibiting for a one day pass. It is a great way to see new products and technologies as well as to keep your network strong. You can also follow the conference using hashtag: #ASHG2013

I will be at ASHG on Wednesday and Thursday so if you would like meet up, feel free to email me, Karen (at) sondergroup (dot) com.
